Swiss Army Shirt
This variant is currently sold out
Woven for us by Alumo in Appenzell, this is our version of an army shirt for civilians. An army would never use such a soft and lustrous Swiss twill, nor would they use Italian mother of pearl buttons. They would make the shirt with a one piece collar and a placket (the only shirt we make with one) and pleated patch pockets with a buttoning flap inspired by our car coat, which in turn gets its details from a M59 Swedish Army field jacket.
The shirts are cut by hand and made in a small hidden workshop in Porto, Portugal by a team of five hard working women and a couple of grumpy guys (the women actually own the workshop). The shirts are tapered and feature our soft Craig collar, two button cuffs with a flat hem, single needle stitching throughout and Italian mother of pearl buttons.
Made of pure Swiss cotton in Porto, Portugal.
